She is a creative explorer, a freelance designer, and an occasional artist…
Through her experience in both art and design, she often pondered about the relationship between the two, how similar they are yet different in many ways. All art seems to be designed while some design does not seem to serve a function. However, she believes in the curation of Art as an art form itself, as it draws the essence of work, is capable of provoking thoughts and creates a platform in which people can engage in dialogue. In her day job at the gallery, she focuses in making it come true.
She is mostly intrigued by people, and their behaviour, quiet spaces that often speak in volume, as if there is an alternative space beyond. While her artwork takes on various forms and medium — drawing on paper, video work, porcelain/ stoneware vessels, it often explores the emptiness of being and questions one’s forgotten senses and existence.
